Thanks to ??? for pointing out these pics are on Getty Images... I removed the offending "gettyimages" for our viewing pleasure. (Of course Getty still gets the credit though...just so I don't get in trouble!)
AROUND THE BELLHORN - Mark Bellhorn started Sunday's game against the Pirates at third base. So far this spring he's started games at first, second and now third.
"I'm going to play shortstop (today)," Bellhorn said. "Then maybe the outfield."
So next week will he be catching?
"That's the only position I've never played," Bellhorn said.
Bellhorn went 1-for-2 with an RBI against the Pirates and is now batting .444 in spring with a home run and five RBIs.
I agree H... I'm not big on the Drewster, either. I do like that center fielder... can't remember his name off the top of my head... the guy from the minors that everyone keeps comparing to Damon.
***And ??? - when are we getting you to a game with us?? ***
I don't know last summer I think I was on vacation when you all went and ST time is bad for me at work.
Now, a baseball question. Why would they take the second and third baseman out in the fifth inning?
If somone could answer in the next hour that would be nice.
No! I've been following along with the live box scores. The Reds are now 5 or 6-and 0, I think Mark's played every game, has 2-SO and HRs, RBIs, Walks he's doing well.

He's getting a sense of humor:

BRIDGE!!! Are you going to Ft Myers for ST on St. Patty's day?? We are and I think Kelly's going to be, also. LET US KNOW! I emailed you, too. :)
SOXY - are you going to ST this year??
And ??? - when are we getting you to a game with us??
I think Celt is out of town right now, so I assume she's not going to ST. ;)

Performance - maybe we are up by 20 runs....
Manager wants to give them 1/2 off....
Injury
Maybe they were traded
Can't think of a strategy reason...

This is as of Sunday, he got the strike-outs the last two days:
Bellhorn went 1-for-2 with an RBI against the Pirates and is now batting .444 in spring with a home run and five RBIs.

There's an article out today on the Reds site that said he has a minor league deal in 2002 with the Cubs. I thought he was the starter with the Cubs?
